Privacy Notice

How enquiry information should be collected and used.

A financial-services site should make data handling visible and understandable, especially when the enquiry flow is part of the commercial model.

Purpose of collection

Personal information submitted on this website is collected for the limited purpose of responding to enquiries, assessing whether a prospective client is a fit for the advisory service, arranging a consultation where appropriate, and supporting lawful business and regulatory obligations.

Information that may be collected

The site may collect a visitor's name, email address, phone number, city or province, general planning need, investable asset range, and any information voluntarily included in a message. Where a formal product or advice process begins, additional information may be required for identification, underwriting, claims, credit checks, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

How information should be used

Information should only be used to contact the enquirer about the submitted request, assess service fit, manage follow-up, and support lawful business administration. This can include identity verification, record keeping, audit purposes, fraud prevention, regulatory communications, and compliance with legal duties where applicable.

Disclosure to product suppliers and group entities

In line with the Efficient Wealth disclosure notice, personal information may be shared with product suppliers whose products or services a client elects to use, and where appropriate with other entities in the Efficient Group or an affiliated advisor, subject to consent or another lawful basis.

Confidentiality and POPIA

Efficient Wealth's introduction letter states that client information is treated as confidential and only disclosed where consent is given in writing or where disclosure is required by law. Personal information should be used appropriately, transparently, and in accordance with POPIA.

Access, correction, and complaints

A data subject may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and may object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is the basis relied on. Complaints about handling of information or advisor conduct may be directed to complaints@efgroup.co.za.
